Gruno:

If you have read my posts since I first found out about this site --- I do not believe in sales figures. Such references are to illustrate how an artist does or does not sell copies of any given CD.

My criteria has always been:

01) Intelligence and Honesty

02) Talent

03) The artist writing their own songs.

I also tend to gravitate to musicians that move me spiritually or emotionally --- just as I wrote about my break up as the song BEING ALONE TOGETHER.

I have been a fan of David's since 1986, when BOOMTOWN was first released. This album did not sell millions upon millions of copies --- but it still receives frequent plays in my home and car.

I have said this before --- and I will repeat it again here:

BOOMTOWN is my most favorite of ANY ALBUM released duing that entire decade.

Obviously --- by your asking such an oxymoronic question, you seemed to have missed the point I was making.

Peace and Prayers,
