The First VH tour --- I think you mean the tour they opened up for BLACK SABBATH --- which was OZZY's last tour with that band before he went solo.

As usual --- I have created controversy when all I wanted to do was help avoid some people out there from buying a CD that STINKS ---

I saw them many times with DLR --- and they used to be one of the best shows of the 1980's --- up until the 1984 album and tour.

VAN HAGER was pretty lame --- I agree.

Nothing against any home town B-B-Q joint --- you see, it's just that to go from STADIUMS to BARS --- like I said earlier --- it is an interesting (yet ultimately sad) flame out --- that's all.

Also, to be putting out that PARTY GUY image at age 50 --- is also kind of lame --- especially considering that this guy used to be so good at one time.

They rocked and blew BLACK SABBATH off the stage during the first true VAN HALEN tour (Sept 1978 at the Niagara Falls Convention Center). DLR also played that same hall on his SKYSCRAPER tour.

Also --- DLR's first two full length solo albums --- who he recorded with STEVE VAI and Buffalo's own BILLY SHEEHAN (of TALAS fame) for the record --- was better than anything VH ever did --- and yet, he couldn't keep that one together for too long either.
