I saw VH w/Dave at the 82' US festival (my first concert) although Dave was drunk, they rocked (as did the Scorps and Ozzy, among others) and I saw VH w/Sammy i believe during the OU812 tour at the Cow Palace in S.F. and it was incredible show, Sammy was amazing. They both have great stage presence. I definitely prefer original VH to the stuff with Sammy, i even liked Dave's solo Crazy from the Heat, but in a head to head comparison Sammy plays mean guitar and can actually sing . . . I almost went to the Dave show at the San Joaquin Co. fair, but had other committments (saw Joan Jett there years ago, she puts on a heck of a show)
