Frankly, the thought of downloading everything scares me. What happens when you have to re-write the hard drive after a virus? Sure, you can keep a backup hard drive, but that also takes time and effort. I still like the look of a wall of cd's and lp's as well. I do think that downloading is the primary cause of record store failures because the younger generation, who used to be the bread and butter of these places, is increasingly download-only.
