Rolling Stone heaps praise on all politically correct artists in their stable, their bent being only commercial and never any artistic critique of discernment nor balance. . They are a worthless rag, and shoulda started printing their swill on softer paper years ago. The last time I liked reading Rolling Stone was when they showed the photos of the Hells Angels flailing on the fat nude guy at Altamont with pool cues, and advertised great places to travel to get hash, in their back page ad section. If you want a real music review, Cy, with all due respect, don't go to Rolling Stone. Lester Bangs woulda been much more scrutinizing; it's a pity he OD'd on cough syrup.
I never liked Springsteen all that much, except for maybe Darkness on the Edge of Town. The rest I can take or leave.
