To be fair, Pat wasn't arguing that Obama doesn't have a pedigree: he conceded that point. His position was that Obama doesn't have real world experience to match that of Palin or McCain.

I think he's being disingenuous since McCain also doesn't have much practical life experience in civilian life nor does he have a host of accomplishments besides some very dubious legislation: No Child Left Behind, Campaign Finance, etc. All failures or half-successes at best. It is encouraging that he's at least showed the capacity for discussion and compromise.

I don't think any reasonable person who studies Palin's fiscal record in Alaska would come to the conclusion that her "real world" experience is worth a damn as relating to the national situation.
