The boys and girls we bring home may not live happily ever after, but the ones that come home might just live a little longer, or at least not die for the sake of a lie. As I understand it (and remember I'm not a super smart elected official, or Tony Snow) nobody is suggesting we "cut and run", thats the fear mongers term. Reasonable minds suggest that we leave in stages, also known as redeployment. "Cut and run" is as empty a statement as "Shock and Awe" or my favorite "Mission Accomplished" ie; it's PR.

Besides the Iraqi Prime Minister said this week we could leave. So there you go. I am satisfied that the Iraqi's can handle it now, or maybe right after they get back from their vacation. Thay have learned from us, to be sure.

As far as familiarity with what constitutes a "mistake" I'll defer to your side.
