If we bring em home now, we will save American lives, period.

Why, because neither side is admitting is what has transpired is not a mistake. The Bush Administration has not in any shape or form botched this 'mission'. In fact, the President was telling the truth when he declared Mission Accomplished. What he understands and few others do is that the Mission was to set the Iraqi's to fighting among themselves, to destabilize the country, and as a byproduct of the former, the region too(refuges, insurgents, etc); and subsequently to use said destabilization as a pretext to invade other nations such as Iran and Syria in order to control more resources.

Empire is the name of the game. Empires need to control their currencies and OTHERS natural resources. Saddam prior to Desert Storm had declared his intention of switching to the Euro in exchange for oil -meaning dumping the dollar, meaning hitting the USG where it would hurt right nice- and again before this round. Obviously, Iraq has oil. Rebuilding America's Defenses and the previous Pax Americana plan(s) that Rumsfeld developed at Sec of Defense Cheney's command near the end of Bush 41's reign, clearly spelled out the NEED, not just desire, to control a wide range of int'l resources in order to put the American Empire in the position of being able to dictate terms to the remainder of the world.

The most fruitless, and pointless! effort in the world is attempting to convince people of truths, they refuse to believe despite the evidence disproving their preference.

Pick a topic, any topic ... Me, I'm trying to learn to quit attempting.

peaceably

ps The sooner we bring our warriors home, the sooner we can begin bringing the insurgents in as refuges in need of a new home(because that would be the right thing to do, since we've torn up their country and all). LMAO, silly Americans ... D'oh!!!
