whatever you think about eminem, he is not suitable fodder for an 11-year-old, period. i have two children, 8 and 5, and while there is no way i will ultimately be able to restrict them in their musical tastes, i will never encourage their listening to the sort of violent, mysogynistic, homophobic, racist, puerile "message" that mathers promulgates... and, yes, i have listened to his music, recognize his talent, and even like a few songs... but i also see him as a reflection of and a contributor to a society that is hell-bent on destruction, devoid of a moral centre, and violent to its core...
