i'm not the huge fan that some here are, so i'll let them comment on springsteen's work...but he's influenced lot of musicians. he's one of those guys whose tunes get played all over by all kinds of folks. i'm not familiar with a lot of his catalog, so it's happened many times that i hear somebody playing a catchy little tune and it turns out to be springsteen. the songs mean something to them, and then they breathe their own life into them.
