There is a great website called

http://www.spinsanity.com

This site examines spin from both sides and then provides the real analyis of issues.

For example, the right is currently using the practice of cut and paste when it comes to transcripts from television shows and other items. Last week Howard Dean was on Chris Matthews show and when Matthews asked him if he would break up Fox, Dean JOKINGLY said "YES!". To those watching it, it was an obvious joke and even Matthews then said, "No, Seriously..."....

A conservative pundit wrote in the Washington Post on Friday that Dean said he was going to break up Fox and left out all the rest. And this wasn't all he cut and pasted in this transcript.

Also, in regards to the Durbin memo, again, the right cut and pasted items in the "secret" memo to fit their purpose. The writer of the memo did not write the memo in the manner reported "he's a Latino." It was written as a brief on judicial candidates with the pertinant data on potential candidates.

Lastly, go to this website and find out why the leaked DOD memo printed by the Weekly Standard is not getting much press. This site picks apart the supposed wet dream memo the right is climbing on that states there are ties between Osama Bin Forgotten and Saddam (on a real bizarre note, DOD released a memo AFTER this memo stating that nothing new has been found and the claims in the Weekly Standard article are from unproven raw data - folks, I don't make this shit up).

So go to Spinsanity.com and do a little research.....
