I'm curious if anyone can give insight to a question I have pondered over the years and one that no one has been able to offer a good answer to. Does anyone out there have ideas why so many country music performers do not write their own material and accept so many submissions while muscians in the rock area write so much of their own material? Hope this doesn't seem too silly or have an obviously simple answer.
