There is a good article in the new Playboy written by McGovern about how Dean and current times are completely different from when he ran and the issues that made McGovern's race so poor are not present.

Next, as others have said, Dean is not the liberal the right would like him portrayed as and this time around I think the media will not treat Shrub the way they did last time. Watch Pelosi's documentary on Shrub's campaign and you'll see what I mean. All the young reporters on his end acted like it was a huge road trip. Nowadays he will have tougher questions to answer.

Personally, I don't think the economy is going to stay as robust and Iraq is going to stay bad and Shrub and all his cronies will be leaving in '04 (but hell, I've been wrong too many times to count).
