Wow...Pat, I would suggest you pick up David Corn's "The Lies of George W. Bush", but I know you won't.What I find so alarming about you all on the right is that from the start EVERY one of Shrub's claims about Iraq have now been misproven. (I'm not including the gassing of the Kurds, which happened on GWB 1's watch). David Corn chronicles all of Shrub's statements from 9/11 to the present, as well as all of his cronies. For a recap -1. No ties to al Queda
2. Iraq was not involved in 9/11
3. No uranium from Africa
4. The aluminum tubes were not for the manufacture of nuclear weapons
5. The found botulism by Dr. Kay was of the wrong strain and so safe it was being stored in the Iraqi's fridge
6. The two mobile labs were not mobile chem/bio labs after all
7. No WMD's
8. M. Atta was in America at the time Cheney said he met with an Iraqi official in Belgium
9. The exposure of a CIA covert agent
10. Shrub et al used all intelligence, even intelligence the CIA said was wrong or doubtful to push to war
11. No imminent threat
12. No potential of a biological or chemical attack in 45 minutesAs for good things....the Shrub admin is spinning that tale too. One report I read, can't recall where at the time, stated that Shrub's claims of open schools and hospitals was bullshit. Yes, the schools were closed, but DURING the war. And at no time did the hospitals close. I believe that years from now, maybe not in our lifetime, Shrub will be one of the most highly criticized American presidents and will be looked upon in great dishonor. Finally Pat, I would suggest you pick up Thomas Friedman's "From Beirut to Jerusalem." If you read it you will then understand that Shrub and his advisors truly failed the American people by ignoring the culture of the Middle East. In the meantime I'd suggest turning off Foxnews and looking elsewhere for honest reports. Eric
