Thanks for the info. I did see Stephen in concert around 1979, in fact, in Cleveland, OHIO, and he did Cherokee as part of his concert. Remember enjoying that a lot.
If you or a friend have access to a belt-drive turntable (they make very good quality ones now, for not too much), it behooves you to get a clean copy of the vinyl Manassas and have a listen. There are some nuances there, particularly with the bass, and Lala's percussion, that simply don't come out as well on CD. See what you think.
