Hi all. As a way to steer into some music talk I came up with a game we could try.

We all listen to music. And for me - I'm a fan of the intro. Those first 10-15 seconds. A classic example would be The Who's Won't Get Fooled Again. So I came up with this game - submit your favorites and we'll randomly pit them head to head until a winner is crowned. The more entries the better!

Welcome to the ultimate quest to find the greatest song intro of all time. We’re not looking for the best song—we’re looking for those opening seconds that give you chills, grab your attention, and demand you turn the volume up.

Whether it's a world-shaking drum fill, a haunting synth pad, or a guitar riff that defines a generation, we want to hear it.

📜 The House Rules

Two Nominations Max: Each user can submit up to 2 song intros. Choose wisely!

The "Intro" Focus: Consider the first 15–30 seconds. If the song takes 4 minutes to get started, it might be a masterpiece, but is it a great intro?

YouTube Links Matter: Please try to include a YouTube link. It helps the community listen along and ensures we’re all judging the same version of the track.

The Deadline: Nominations will remain open until the bracket is full (a week or so - or as long as it takes to get at least 8 songs - 16 or 32 would be awesome!). Once we hit our target, the "Submit" button disappears and the voting begins!

We'll use a head to head - winner moves on format.

Entries will remain anonymous until the winner is crowned.
