You beat me to it, Al. Currently watching old videos of Rob and the Oils with tears streaming unbidden down my face.

We saw him perform twice in Albany - once with Paul Greene (Hirst & Greene) and the other with a local group of musicians - both in intimate venues where we got to chat with him at length. A positively delightful human - humble, friendly and interested in everything.

One of our biggest regrets was being away in the eastern states when a friend brought Rob to our place to look at the museum.
