Well, I think that if for whatever reason, Denmark were to suddenly decide to surrender Greenland to Trump, then Trump would believe he is doing the right thing with threats and extortion and he would then turn to Canada, potentially Iceland, and we know he has his sights set on Central and South America, and of course Mexico.
Based on what the Supreme Court and Trump's lawyers have done, they stated the only way to stop and remove a president is through completing the impeachment process. Likely believing that this could never happen. It is clear what Trump's plan for the world is and that Putin is 1000% behind it.
Trump is both a bully and a coward though and you can't stop him by trying to play nice with him and giving him what he wants. Instead, the tables must be turned on him, we need to restore the separation of powers and the only path to that is by having the House and Senate unite.
If Trump ever were to get his hands on Greenland a chain reaction would occur. NATO collapses, Putin is free to go after all of Europe, which both Trump and Vance want to give him, China is free to take Taiwan. Trump would then unleash hell on the streets of the United States, making what is happening in Minnesota look like a day at Disneyland.
We would go full on law of the jungle, might makes right, and Trump would declare war (not that he has not already) on all Blue states demanding they cede all control to him arresting any state or local politician that disagrees with him. Elections and the Constitution are eliminated. If you are watching this, pretty much what Trump and Stephen Miller are doing is violating multiple amendments in the Constitution all at once. Miller said that state police must surrender to federal officers. This goes against the 10th Amendment, the specific purpose of Miller's statement is that they no longer abide by the Constitution, which was part of the Project 2025 plan all along. It may shock a guy like Marc to discover that means elimination of the 2nd Amendment as well.
Our economy will not just crash, but rather be obliterated, again intentional and survivable by Trump and his billionaire class...but working folks, well, thoughts and prayers for them.
All that is on the line here is any form of democracy and we would return to the days of being ruled by a king and his chosen successors. And one with really bad intentions that believes we all owe him everything and so he and his friends will be free to take whatever they want. I do not believe this is the chain reaction Republicans want to set in motion, but if they do...nowhere to hide on this planet that is safe.
