Happy New Year to you all!

As to your question - still just the two grandchildren - Ruben (born on my 58th birthday and now 3.5) and Vienna (18 months). They were here with their parents for Christmas. Vienna kindly gave me the worst cold I've had in years. Still can't talk without coughing, which isn't great when showing visitors through the museum.

Nick and Vienna returned to Perth last Saturday, but Ruben and Alyssa only left this morning. The house is very quiet, and I can't say I mind...

Not sure I will have any additional grandchildren. Karina maintains that her nephew and niece are the best contraceptive ever!

The YouTube video that Peter T. posted of our museum was made by the British historian, Guy de la Bedoyere, made famous here by the BBC show 'Time Team'. He and his wife stay with us every year for a few days.He is an expert on Ancient Rome and Egypt, having written over 40 books about the subject and lectured around the world. He is also extremely eccentric and melodramatic - never a dull moment.

They're due again in early February, so we might encourage him to update his video, given we've added more rooms and exhibits. If anyone is interested, we have both a website and Facebook page.
