Yes, he is from a church going, gun loving, MAGA family and a big Nick Fuentes fan. So, yet another case of one of these MAGA guys killing or attempting to kill their own. Basically, as I have always felt, MAGA is not one big unified group, they are a bunch of smaller groups many of them only unified by the fact that they are extremely disgruntled about something, but not always the same thing. 

I only learned the term "Groyper" through reading about this. I guess a Groyper is a Nick Fuentes fan and they tend not to like Charlie Kirk because he's just not white nationalist enough for them. Kirk would say he backed Israel the Fuentes nutters did not like that. 

So, the killer was a Trump fan just not a Charlie Kirk fan. So, Trump is lying about this kid being some sort of supporter of Democrats, liberals, or any kind of supporter of transgender people. 

Yes, he called his dad, told him what he did, and his dad called a pastor they knew who also happened to be a US Marshal and the kid agreed to turn himself in. The kid was a good shot because he and his family were very into guns and went shooting all the time. 

Interesting that Nancy Mace once she discovered this kid was a Trump supporter said "he's a lost soul and we should pray for him" but I think she is still backing the death penalty for him.
