Strange happenstance. I was at college at the time. In Ohio, but far enough away that I could not get Cleveland radio. I came home one weekend on a whim and called a few friends, all of whom were out somewhere. So I checked the paper to see what was happening in town. Wishbone Ash was playing the Allen Theater with an opener I'd never heard of. Went downtown and managed to score a ticket to a sold out show. The opener was Bruce. Had no idea who he was or how much MMS had been plugging him. I thought he sucked. (Took MAJOR shit for that) I really didn't 'get' him until Nebraska came out and I could hear the voice beneath the bombast. BTW that concert is local legend.
