Trump believes the Constitution should be done away with. His lawyers argued in court that Trump never swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. One of the principals of the Project 2025 agenda is the Constitution be eliminated and Trump is actively following that agenda. He put Russell Vought, one of the key players in Project 2025, in a position in the government to execute the Project 2025 plan.
So, Trump breaking the Constitution is not a surprise. He wants it removed. Most of the things they are doing, the whole DOGE nonsense, his followers think that is about "waste and fraud" and saving money. It is not, it is about brick by brick removing all the people in government that would have upheld and were loyal to the Constitution and replacing them instead, with people loyal only to Trump and the agenda.
Trump is intentionally not going to follow the Constitution, it is part of the plan.
The shock moment for his followers with regards to the Constitution is the plan is to declare it a document that is no longer relevant and get rid of it. The plan being, the president makes the rules as he goes, declares what is legal, and what is not. One man has full and final say. Not only is he above the law, he is the law.
The MAGA crowd generally only knows and cares about one part of the Constitution, the 2nd Amendment, their right to bear arms. Well, it would probably upset them that if Trump and his team get their way, that gets thrown out as well. Yup, they have already gamed that out. These people thought Obama and Democrats were the ones that would come for their guns, nope, it is Trump and Republicans that have that plan, sitting on a backburner, already all worked out.
See, everybody that does not work for Trump, would be disarmed, arrested, or killed in some bloody standoff. This is in part why Trump is searching for the excuse to declare Martial Law. That is mostly the endgame. His followers think it will be so he can arrest and execute people like Obama, Biden, the Clintons, truth is, it is about ending the Constitution and that will end, much to their dismay, the second amendment. Oh, well.
