No! I wouldn't label 16 Horsepower a christian band. David Eugene Edwards is the grandson of Nazarene preacher. His grandfather would read to him when he was a child. Those words and memories were a huge influnce on the bands music for years. I read a interview with the band years ago and David stated that in no way did he want to be labled a "Christian Band". I think his fascination with dark tales from old book, is a way for him to tell twisted tales of fire and brimstone.
