To me it seems to be a little different than "sucking up" to David. You see, this messageboard is mainly composed full of fans of David and his music. ( Doh! I know, no surprise there! afterall it is a DB site.) Though, some fans on this messageboard seem to have a greater apreciation for David than others. It's simple as that. What we really have to watch out for is those people out there who forget that David is a human being first, then a singer/songwriter, musican, pop star, celibirty, activist, etc. second! He may have made or makes comments that might offend some people, just as I have and most likely will in the future! We need to "calm the folk down" on this one. Some people are begining to look a little to obsessed with David here? (and it's not only this thread, but many others as well!)
It's getting kind of scary? and at times, If I where David I would would run!!!
That's my two cents on the matter, Hope I didn't piss off a few dozen more of you out there.
