I'm surprised that the parties filing suit from the Gilbert estate did not try to sort things out first, either by communicating with David directly or even something as simple as asking for more details on a board like this.  I guess they have their reasons for believing strongly that Kevin was a cowriter, but I agree that this is a sad development.  I'm a big fan and admirer of both Kevin and David's work, and from everything I've heard they had nothing but the highest mutual respect for each other.  I hope this doesn't serve to tarnish their relationship in the public eye.
