: Greetings!
"If you are into KING CRIMSON, please BUY THIS DVD--- you won't be disapointed!"
I have to agree with Kent on this issue.
I actually purchased this DVD before I had a player, in fact, I guess that's why I bought a player. If you have the whole package with surround sound this disc is incredible.
The picture quality is good but it is obvious that the video was made before DVD plans were made.
The show is a good mix between the power crunching instrumentals that KC is known for and the gentler, pop sensibilities of the Adrian Belew side of the band.
For anyone interested, The Crim is in Nashville as we speak working on an EP to be released before the next studio album.
Also, as a side note for the Zappa fans:
Last weekend (April 13, 2002), Gail Zappa called Adrian and invited him to play at the official Zappa Tribute to be held next Halloween in New York City. Adrian spent Wednesday, April 17th, having dinner with Terry Bozzio and Patrick O'Hearn reminiscing about their days with Frank as bandmates. They also laid out plans for a tentative musical future of their own (the "Power Trio" Adrian's been wanting to do).
..back to your regularly scheduled chit-chat.
