If you're interested in anyone else from The Tuesday Night Music Club, then you must check out "Thud" by Kevin Gilbert. We lost Kevin in 1996, I believe. Even so, another reportedly fantastic album: "The Shaming of the True" has come out posthumously.
: : Personally, I found myself just as compelled by Kevin's work on Thud as I have by David's work, and that's saying something. He has a political and humourous bite to his lyrics too. And "Song for a Dead Friend" is one of the most moving songs I've ever heard.

: As with "Song For A Dear Freind", I defy anyone to listen to the last track listed on Susannah's album- "Weak With Love" and not feel absolute beaten-down sadness. Chokes me up every time I listen to it...
: Do yourselves a favor and get Susanah's album when you go out to pick up "Thud". You won't be sorry you did.

Well, Jimmy, normally I stay away from anything related to the Bangles, but you make a damn convincing case for this particular recording. Guess I gotta check it out.
