Umm, did I read that last post correctly? Did Eugene actually put GORDON LIGHTFOOT in the same damn ballpark as Bob Dylan? I'm smoking crack and doing shooters of Wild Turkey at the moment just trying in some way to cope with this statement. I'm so lit up right now you could play a night game at Yankee stadium under my ass! You do realize you could heap all the accolades under the sun on Dylan and still not overate the man...DON'T YOU? Screw all that PC babble and just get used to the fact that he's just plain GREAT! I mean you could say it's all an opinion and everybody's got one but you know the reason Lightfoot thinks Dylan is great is because he is in awe of the man. Dylan's probably thrown away more great lyrics than most songwriters will ever come up with in their lifetimes. You could have at least used Jackson Browne for god's sake. Gordon Lightfoot?!?!?!
