Yes,in fact just this afternoon I got a copy of Shelby Lynne's album,and couldn't agree more about the songwriting,production and over-all quality of this release.On a number of tracks I did hear a strong Lucinda Williams style vocal,but she's not to shabby an influence to have is she!!!!As for other music in the CD player right now,Junior Brown (damn fine pickin'!!)and a visit back to The Band,a 2 cd set To Kingdom Come. Their unbelievable musicianship,and the vocal abilities of Rick Danko,Levon Helm,and Richard Manuel can't be left alone for too long around here.
