I think I was thinking that happiness is often simply a matter of perception; that virtually any situation can be
considered thev perfect one, depending as much on your outlook as your actual circumstances. On one hand
something so extreme as a transcendent's relationship with pain, a breaking of physical connection with his own
body and a
different kind of connection with... infinity;
or at the other extreme, some average broken-hearted blighter who wakes up from some morose fantasy and
says "shit, this ain't so bad" (In case you're wondering, I fall into the second category)
