Like some of our likeminded friends, we're keeping our heads low until the results are known. It's just not worth it! I don't need to listen to another podcast, or read another WAPO, NYT, Boston Globe, or Atlantic article. 

I was listening to Andrew Sullivan's podcast yesterday with Sam Harris. These guys absolutely detest Trump, and have been forcefully saying so for years. They are clearly worried that Trump will take it, and both point to Biden's utterly baffling neglect at the southern border. And I have said so myself since Biden took office. And I'm a huge proponent of legal immigration!  Sam did wonder if it would make sense for Harris to more forcefully acknowledge the mistake and absolutely make it clear to the public that she gets their outrage and she will reverse course and end the flow. Harris also wondered if it's too late in the election for such a mea culpa. Here in New Hampshire, we don't get the political ads that are surely running endlessly in the battleground states. Perhaps she's already made such a pivot, but I sense she hasn't.
