A great dropout from prestigious Faber College once uttered those weighty words. And they resonate with me at this time. Humor, gobs of it, bucket loads of satirical swipes...they all have a place in our political advertising arsenal. Whether Biden remains, or a suitable replacement is found, it's vital to remember that when one takes on tragedy, or an impending one, one should employ comedy as a weapon. A well known English bard whose name escapes me, apparently used it to some effect! We should unleash the best and brightest from The Onion, former National Lampooners (showing my age here), dusted off pythoners, and the numerous contemporary denizens of comedy clubs across the country. Honestly, this has the potential to grab eyeballs, make pointed points, irritate the orange monster, and get people talking and perhaps even thinking. By all means, hammer the bastard on the loss of reproductive freedom, and the other hot button issues that play to the independents and those in battleground states. But today, get off the canvas, dust yourselves off, cease the crying in your beverage of choice, and be of the stoutest of hearts and the funniest of bones! Crank up In A Big Country if you need some energy.

Say no more, say no more!
