I was having a conversation with my son about democracy earlier. He surprised me with his analysis of democracy’s limitations. I’d never even thunk it. Trump was on to here and to be honest he looked like he’s growing in stature every day. And that was scary. Conviction. That’s what carries people forward towards their ultimate demise. 

I’ve had my run ins with rascists in London. Open my mouth and out comes an Irish accent and all hell can break loose. These days if I was running from them the thought might cross my mind that I could be literally running for my life.
