I’m pretty sure at some point way back I suggested that they’d (left and right wing) meet once they’d gone 180 degrees and actually pass each other on the way to believing the complete opposite of what they’d believed before.
The world isn’t linear. It’s circular. It’s goes round and round doing the same things all over again and again. if people realised that they’d stop and wait for the event to come to them rather than chase it.
it isn’t even that these are new beliefs. It’s just that fascists are more emboldened. They’ll create havoc and then either meet their fate ir sneak back under the rock they came out of.
