Philosophy AND civics have bOth fallen off the curriculum (from grade school through college).
Discussions on basement pit groups in frat houses and on the girls' floor of coed dorms; discussion 'til th' sun (or sumthing) come up apparently have ceased & desisted oh jeez!
Not sure anymore the nature of campus life. What was once a living breathing entity (pfft)
