Mick, I really think that Biden did a good job from the get-go. With a narcissist like Bebe, one has to tread lightly, or else his wounded ego will annihilate everything, in this case, all of Gaza (what hasn't already been decimated) as payback. Behind the scenes, the Biden administration was working from Day 1 to temper the reaction to the horrendous attack on Israel. I don't for one second believe that the current administration had in mind an acceptable number of children to be murdered. Unfortunately, effective diplomacy takes time. Finding the right partners to work together that Hamas will listen to was a monumental task. It is truly a dance that is carefully choreographed. Let's just hope that the prisoners on both sides will be released and a peaceful solution will be worked out sooner rather than later. With Biden in DC prodding Bebe in private that is entirely possible. With trump, there is no way in hell there will be peace in the Middle East.
