Please help me out if you're all able to. Am I wrong for tying what Hamas did with the continued encroachment by Israelis into Palestinian-held lands and the apartheid directed at the Palestinians? Is that at the heart of this or is that just an aside, not really mattering in the overall picture, meaning: Hamas would've attacked Israel regardless of their actions toward the Palestinians?
I ask that because I'm hearing none of the pundits or newscasters talk about why Hamas may have done this other than to say they're a terrorist organization. Does Hamas even represent Palestinians or are they merely using them?
