Netanyahu is an animal. He said that his response will forever change the Middle East. Meaning, it is not going to be anything but totally brutal. It will separate people here in the US because people will take sides on this and dig in. There are a lot of people in the Gaza strip and many of them are not with Hamas. I saw one Israeli strategist asked about if they will fight this on the ground or in the air. The response was air strikes would be an issue because typically they can't get at Hamas through airstrikes. It only serves to kill civilians and destroy civilian targets. However, Netanyahu takes the same overwhelming force and devastation approach as Putin...which is probably in part why Putin likes him. It's a hideous mess now only bound to get messier.
