I just saw this on Hulu and it has knocked my socks off.  THIS is a truly independent film all the way and a wonderful one at that.  I suggest reading as little of it as possible and just watching it.  But if you dislike slow-burn, tension-filled character studies, then you might want to avoid it.

It is a flick about a dour, but troubled, on the edge of his seat father of four trying to save his crumbling marriage.  The filming is excellently bleak and faded in color with expansive rural scenery and the acting by two of the leads completely against typecasting for Clayne Crawford and Chris Coy.

It is a painful film to watch, but it is not depressing.  It also is a film about life and how life does not end midstream or when one particular story in one's life comes to an end - it is sort of like the ending of a chapter in the middle of the book.

It is streaming on HULU.
