You made excellent points, I would like to add to your comments to mention American's obsession with paintball wars and first person shooter video games like Doom, Quake, and others of that genre.

Also remember that some of us have to give little Johnny a G.I. Joe doll (or is it Action Figure?) for christmas, and toy guns, and those little green plastic soldier battle kits, and so on.

Then we wonder why little Johnny grows up to be just like Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold and their immaginary Trenchcoat Mafia?
