This is a very interesting of director/screenwriter/writer Paul Schrader.  He lays forth some very good life observations.  He even touches on his often-used solo character/journaling while in isolation from humanity, even while in society, theme.

On a side note, to show the idiocy of these often criers of "woke" - regarding the Killers of the Flower Moon movie, idiots again are making an attempt to label a movie about Indigenous people being screwed, taken advantage of, stolen from, and murdered by white people as "woke."   These fuckers never seem to quit.  How the hell can a movie that is being deemed very accurate about the mistreatment of the Indigenous be "woke"?

Not only is this movie quite accurate, but there is also a lengthy dialog floating around how the Osage were respectfully consulted by the makers of this movie unlike anything seen in the past,  but again, to these morons, it is "woke."
