Great topic for us music snobs Peter. I have a tendency to avoid conversations about music as I'm rarely if ever around people who like music beyond background noise. And also to avoid the question 'what kind of music do you listen to/like?'. How do you answer that? I had a neighbor when I lived in Charlottesville, VA in the early 00s whose music snobbery was unmatched. He mentioned to me once his answer to that question - and it was to denote the number of CDs he owned. At the time - probably around 1200-1500. Now that's snobbery. Tom was a legend. Last I checked in on him - he informed me all of his new music purchases (and really all of his current music listening) is all done from vinyl. Legend.
