Problem is, Ross, I have a sense of humor and there is a lot to make jokes about when it comes to Texas and in particular a rather horrific slate of politicians that represent the state. I mean they may be in competition with places like Arizona and Florida for the worst bunch of lunatics elected to office but hey, those two states are not states you want to be in competition with, I'd say. 

The jokes I made were not racist and it would be a helluva stretch to call them so. Racist is having "sundowner" towns in 2022. That's racist. Racist would be having a war on immigrants and blaming them for this country's problems. I'm not implying you would be doing this in anyway, but Texas and Texas politicians are. Not much doubt nor argument about that. Then we get to that little bugaboo that someone has to actually elect these people. There is that but hey, I've always forgiven the horribly misinformed.
