On topics like this I always hope you or Marc will say something to cheer me up. Give me something to feel positive about like "Oh, don't worry, Reg, I've caught on to the fact that Trump is a criminal and we need to move away from people like this." or "Reg, I supported Trump because I was hoping he would have solid fiscal policy I could get behind but it turned out all the guy did was try to divide the country and succeeded. I would never back a candidate like this again."

Your "payback" line stuck with me though and I can't stop thinking about what you mean by that. What kind of "payback" do you envision? What would "payback" look like to you? Do you want to see some sort of "payback" and Donald Trump on some sort of revenge tour?

I mean I know Trump loves revenge as much as he loves profit, so if Trump ever had the chance he would be as destructive as he could possibly be to everything in his path. I mean if you are just looking to back a Republican don't you think there are far better choices than Trump? 

I mean the Republicans are in a strong position right now, they could end up controlling the House, Senate, and presidency in 2024 particularly if they run someone other than Trump. They already control the Supreme Court probably for the rest of our lifetimes. 

At that point they could entirely dismantle our democracy and create an entirely new form of government totally unhindered. We could finally become a full on kleptocracy with fascist roots. I assume this is your preferred style of government.
