For one, I think Trump refused to release the warrant and inventory because he thought Garland would never do it; that he thought Garland would honor the system and not release it until the end of the investigation and allow him to be able to keep hammering Garland.

Secondly, I am wondering if the FBI got all the documents that it was seeking and if not, what happened to them and where did they go.

Next, the Republicans are now moving the goal posts by demanding the release of the affidavit for the search warrant, one of them being MILITARY ATTORNEY Lindsay Graham, knowing that that document will not be able to be released until the end of this because it most certainly contains information that needs to be concealed.  This would be like a prosecutor giving the defense the questions it will ask in a trial.
