Thank you for your insight, EEE. When I first learned that the officer who shot and killed Daunte Wright had fired her handgun rather than her taser, my initial reaction was that it was an honest mistake made in a frenzied moment. I still believe that but the problem I have with the entire encounter was how quickly it devolved as it did. Just like the murder of George Floyd, it never should've been escalated to the degree it was, all over a bogus $20 bill. And who is Chauvin to get so upset over someone trying to pass a counterfeit twenty when he himself is likely guilty of a much more serious tax evasion charge?
