I was looking forward to seeing Springsteen and E Street on SNL this past Saturday and was very disappointed in the sound mixing.   The instruments drowned out the vocals and  I just don't get how hard it is to sound mix. 

The second song they did actually was an irritant to my ears. 

I have good sound on our flatscreen and don't go through an external system (but probably should run it through my receiver).

My only other observation was how it sure gets tough seeing those we have followed for so long age, gain weight, and lose body mobility.   I'm not criticizing being old or aging, only that age certainly creates a melancholy like feeling in me when I see all of my rockers in this journey.
