Perhaps more importantly, were Trump to move there, the place is CRAWLING with Russian hot money. He would be right in his element.
Yes, I think this is another aspect of it that would greatly appeal to the Trump family. Honestly, I don't think Trump has anything to fear from Putin. I mean he is not going to kill off one of his greatest achievements that serves to permanently mock the United States. It is greatly to Putin's benefit to have Trump around. Of course if Trump is in Russia every single thing he does, says, every corrupt move he makes will be recorded...which I am not so sure it will not be while in Dubai but Dubai would serve as a great meeting ground for him. I've never been there but my cousin has many times and he seems to also feel Trump would love it at least from the dirty money aspect. The thinking is a lot of very nasty deals get made there and Trump would be in his glory with various people stuffing money into the pockets of a very dirty (and very for sale) former American president. One of the great benefits of the Trumps moving there would be they could fairly openly start attempting to sell off themselves and every secret they know having just left the White House. I mean the Trumps could not care less about national security or protecting the United States nor protecting our troops so they could and would sell out this country, our intelligence services, our military...basically, any and everything any foreign bad actor wants to know.
My feeling is that if Trump loses this election, he will attempt to put the United States in the most dangerous position he can by giving any and all info he and his dirty family have to every terrorist and enemy of this country there is...and chances are they will reward him and Kushner for that greatly. It's another reason why really the best place for Trump is behind bars. To Trump this will be the revenge he will have on the United States as he is going to want revenge...he always does.
What else does Trump want once he is out of the White House? He wants desperately to be on TV. To have a show, or group of shows, that do two things:
1. Praise him as the greatest of all living creatures.
2. Provide a platform to air his grievances and take shots at his "enemies" and generally foment chaos and unrest in the United States.
Who will put him on TV? Well, probably not FOX. So, it would be a fight between crazed propaganda outlets. One America, Newsmax, Russia Today (imagine Trump getting his own shows on RT) basically...it has to be a place that would tolerate the utter freak show Trump will be on TV. I'm sure Putin is going to want to help and encourage this.
A Trump TV show or network would likely be better off broadcasting from outside the United States. He is going to say and do things that are so far out of line and illegal that he really could not do it from inside the country. If people think he has no restraint and does shocking stuff now, wait until he is out of office. From Dubai, or some other location, he could paint himself orange and stoke the weirdo fans he has here while avoiding subpoenas and extradition.
If he loses this election and all signs point to he will, Trump is going to be furious and he will want revenge on the United States. Imagine the Trump TV Network, broadcasting live from Dubai with Trump having his own show, and shows hosted by Roger Stone, Alex Jones, Michael Flynn, with the daily Q Anon update show hosted by his idiot son Don Junior, wouldn't it be amazing? Trump would book big guests like Putin, Kim Jong-un, MBS, and all sorts of former FOX News wackos. Jeff Sessions, Bill Barr, Devin Nunes, Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows would be regular guests.
It's going to be ugly.
