Before the debate, one of my daughter's asked about what I thought would happen and I told her I thought Harris would do well, but one thing she had to avoid was coming off of what they call the "mad Black woman."  Though this baffles me because really, Lindsay Graham throws tantrums all the time and men are never called on being insane pricks at all.

Anyway, the one thing that Democrats miss in these debates is who they are speaking to.  What I mean is, I think all of the policy wonks and political die hards and so on have already made up their minds, so they need to stick to real kitchen table type topics and answers. In other words, the ole "KISS" acronym applies.  For example, in the next debate, (if there is one and frankly, Biden should just tell the Trump campaign to either agree to the standards or fuck off because the Trump campaigns need the debates more than the Biden campaign), Biden should declare how he wants to lead by following the rules and then use how both Trump and his family and Pence and his wife simply think there are two sets of rules proven by their refusal to wear masks at the debates. 

My point is, stress simple, but important things with overreaching themes. 

Also, I hope they are watching the reports by the CNN factchecker.  I don't know his name, but man, he is a political wonk that is actually doing what could be their own work and research.
