Well, I am definitely a progressive and yes, preferred Bernie and all that and yes I also like AOC and felt they should have given her a central speaking spot...but...the truth is it won't be progressives that take back this country right now. The progressive agenda is popular but essentially all those people should be voting for Biden because the only way to move toward a more progressive agenda is to remove the regressive and destructive Donald Trump. Biden and Harris are not in any way progressives and they are essentially Nixon or Eisenhower Republicans...I know people think that is snark when I say that but it is not...but you'd have to be brain dead not to recognize that is better than having a "chaos" president that has no values, no morals, no ethics, no empathy, no loyalty to anything except sort of to Putin and cash in his own pocket.

So, I know there is both frustration and some happiness that Biden and the DNC have so embraced Republican support but the truth is...it will be those Republican voters that turn out and vote for Biden that essentially win the election for him. 

For anybody that identifies as a Democrat this is a single choice election. Vote for Biden, that's it. Vote for any Democrat that might unseat a Republican. The reason being, the Republican party is dead. It's a total freak show and the Republicans no longer represent the United States. They are living in some weird delusion. Nothing really speaks to that more than the fact that there will be 11 Q Anon Republicans on the ballot in November in Red states. Between these idiots and the "Freedom Caucus" the Republicans have left the playing field. See ya!

Really, and I know I am a broken record here, the "center" of the Democratic party has been yanked so far to the Right that yes, a John Kasich is actually more Representative of the Democratic Party than an AOC or a Bernie Sanders now. That is sad but it is the truth. Where we are at is we are a single party country with the Democrats representing both normal Republicans and by default the progressive left. 

The Republican party has to court utter garbage like the KKK, Aryan Nation, and Q Anon morons because they can't win an election without their votes. Trump fully embraces this idea and he is a racist anyway so for him it does not matter. Hell, Trump will endorse child molesters. He does not give a fuck about anybody nor anything...except himself. That has decimated the Republican party. This is why Republicans are coming out in support of Biden because he better represents them than most currently elected Republicans do. 

Hey, Biden/Harris IS the Republican ticket this year and they just happen to call themselves Democrats so they are a ticket everybody can vote for.
